The victim reported seeing someone stealing her vehicle while she left it running outside of the location she was at.

The incident was reported around 1:20 Monday afternoon.

The criminal complaints in both cases were filed in Olmsted County Court on Monday.

The house suffered what officials described as major smoke and fire damage.

The suspect, who is from South Dakota, was suspected of driving impaired.

Both men are accused of running the scheme from Nov. of 2022 through January of last year.

Two vehicles were involved.

The copper theft was discovered more than two weeks after the apparent burglary.

Two of the drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles.

He was one of seven men charged following the undercover operation that occurred this past April.
