DoorDash Offers $150,000 Relief Grants for Rochester Restaurants
Today, DoorDash, the restaurant delivery service accessible by app, announced they're offering up $150,000 worth of Covid-19 grants to help Rochester, Minnesota, restaurants.
According to a press release, restaurants can apply for a $5,000 grant "to be used to offset costs associated with the ongoing pandemic."
Rochester Mayor Kim Norton said,
“...Our local businesses have done all they can to adapt to the changes needed to stay open and viable during the pandemic...(the) grant program will give them some additional support at a critical time.”
Rochester restaurants can apply today through February 17, 2021. The restaurants that'll get the grants will be notified by March 1, 2021. All grants should be paid out by early May. (Apply by clicking here.)
What are the eligibility guidelines?
- The restaurant must be located in Rochester, MN.
- The restaurant must have 3 stores or fewer currently operating.
- Have $3 Million or less in 2019 annual revenue per store
- Employ 50 people or fewer per store.
