Get Those Shovels Out…You Aren’t Done Yet
You might think your shoveling is done, but if this is still buried on your property you have some work to do.
I was driving around Rochester today and noticed that there are quite a few properties with fire hydrants on them that are still buried in the snow. It might seem like a little thing but if you haven't taken a moment to shovel out the brightly colored hydrants, today is a good day.
I know it is cold out and we might be saying, "But I already shoveled!". When there is a fire, every second matters. If your house was the one that needed help, you would want the seconds spent on fighting the fire and not digging out a fire hydrant.
The Rochester Fire Department has also been responding to several residential fires lately and shared a reminder earlier today. You can read their message here - Warning From The Rochester Fire Department.
