Christopher Bain, running back/linebacker for the Grand Meadow Superlarks, has been named one of ten finalists for the 2016 Mr. Football Award sponsored each year by the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Football Coaches Association (MFCA).  This year's Mr. Football Award will be presented at a banquet Sunday December 4 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Minneapolis.
According to the Minnesota Football Hub, Christopher Bain ranks tenth in the state in rushing touchdowns this season.  Bain has been a key player for the Superlarks, the team having won three State titles in a row.  The Superlarks play in the quarterfinals Friday against Edgerton-Ellsworth.  Listen to all the action on KVGO 104.3 FM with pregame set for 6:40 p.m.  
To meet the Mr. Football Award criteria, the nominee must be a graduating senior, the head coach must be a current member of the MFCA, the nominee must not have any Minnesota State High School League violations, and the player must be nominated by their sub-district/MFCA representative.
