Rose Creek, MN (KROC AM News) - An Iowa man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle traffic wreck in rural Mower County Wednesday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a car and SUV collided at the intersection of Highway 56 and County Rd 3 around 9:00 pm.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was identified as 48-year-old Matthew Larson of Decorah.

The State Patrol says he was driving south on Highway 56 when his car collided with the SUV that was westbound on the county road.

The SUV was driven by 53-year-old Timothy Lafleur of Brandon, SD. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
