How did lead get into children's applesauce packets? That's what Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar is asking the Food and Drug Administration to find out. Several kids in Minnesota have been reported to suffer lead poisoning after consuming the food.

The FDA says to look out for these pouches that are sold under three different brands: Wanabana, Schnucks, and Weis.

Klobuchar met with a mother whose child was sickened from the tainted products this last weekend. According to KSTP-TV, the child was in for a routine checkup when they tested positive for high levels of lead. A couple of days later, a follow-up test still showed high levels.
