Minnesota Group Bike Rides Are Still Happening Through November
Before the weather really turns to winter in the Twin Ports, there are still opportunities to get outside for a bicycle ride.
Even once the snow starts to stick of course you can ride, for me personally it's just not my favorite. Until then, there is a great group ride opportunity that runs every Sunday through November 17th.
The Sunday Slow Roll Group Ride welcomes beginners and bicycle riders of all levels to join them for a 1.5-mile ride. Besides enjoying being outdoors, this ride gives riders and especially newer ones the opportunity to get acclimated to street biking and local bike routes.
The ride is in partnership with Duluth's Continental Ski and Bike and Zeitgeist who are on a mission to transform transportation and inequities in our infrastructure.
Joining others on the Slow Roll Group Ride won't cost you anything and as mentioned, everyone is welcome. The ride departs from Continental Ski and Bike located at 1305 East 1st Street in Duluth and ends at 3rd Street Bakery. 1.5-miles might sound like a haul, but on a bicycle it's not bad at all and group riding can be a great experience to be a part of to help cheer each other on.
