Boy & Young Woman Recently Reported Missing in Minnesota Found Safe
Undated (KROC-AM News)- A pair of recent missing person cases in Minnesota have reached happy endings.
One of the cases involved a young boy from the Rochester area and the other was centered around a student who attends one of the state’s university’s.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office issued a request for public assistance with locating a missing Stewartville boy. The 12-year-old was reported missing on Tuesday night.
The sheriff’s office reported he had been found safe and returned to his family around 2:30 Wednesday morning.
The Stewartville Fire Department, a Minnesota State Trooper and the Stewartville School District also partook in the search for the missing child.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has canceled a statewide missing person alert issued for a Minnesota college student.
The alert was issued on Tuesday on behalf of the University of Minnesota Department of Public Safety. The 20-year-old woman was last seen on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota around midnight on March 10.
The state agency canceled the alert around 10:15 Tuesday night reporting Margot Langford, who is also known as River, was found safe. No other information has been released.
