
Goodhue Motorcyclist Suffers Critical Injuries in Crash with Car at Hwy. 52 & Hwy. 57 Interchange
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southeast Minnesota motorcyclist suffered severe injuries in a collision involving a motorcycle on Wednesday.

A car was also involved in the crash that happened at a Hwy. 52 interchange.
The State Patrol and other emergency responders were called to the scene of the crash around 3:15 p.m.

Goodhue Motorcyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Collision with Car at Hwy. 52/Hwy. 57 Interchange
The crash occurred at the Hwy. 52 and Hwy. 57 interchange, which is about nine miles northwest of Zumbrota.
The car was making a left turn onto the Hwy. 52 north onramp from northbound Hwy. 57 and the motorcycle was heading south on Hwy. 57 when the two vehicles collided, according to the state crash report.
35-year-old Phillip Carl Breidall of Goodhue was identified as the motorcycle operator. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Car Driver Avoids Injury
39-year-old Jessica Ann Wetzstein of Wanamingo was driving the car. The State Patrol says she was not hurt.
Breidall was wearing a helmet and Wetzstein was buckled up. Alcohol was not a suspected factor in the collision, according to the state crash report.

Wanamingo Fire, the Kenyon Police Department, the Zumbrota Police Department, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office and Zumbrota Medics also responded to the car-motorcycle collision.
