
Baby Boy Among Three Injured in Crash at Rochester-Area Intersection
A car heading west on Hwy. 63 was making a left turn onto southbound West River Rd. when it collided with an eastbound Jeep. The Jeep then entered the ditch and rolled, the state crash report says.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- An infant was among three people hurt in a crash north of Rochester.

Two vehicles transporting three people were involved in the crash. The State Patrol responded to the collision around 9:15 Sunday morning.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 63 and West River Rd. NW.

A car heading west on Hwy. 63 was making a left turn onto southbound West River Rd. when it collided with an eastbound Jeep. The Jeep then entered the ditch and rolled, the state crash report says.
31-year-old Molly Kay Witham of West Concord was driving the Jeep. She was transporting an infant boy, identified by the State Patrol as Lowen Zachary Lentz.
Witham and the baby, who is less than a year old, were brought to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
58-year-old Marlene Marie Murray of Rochester was identified as the driver of the car. She was also brought to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
Witham and the child were buckled up. Murray was not wearing a seatbelt. The state crash report also says alcohol was not involved in the two-vehicle collision.
Mayo Clinic Ambulance, the Olmsted County Sheriff’s office and the Rochester Fire Department also responded to the crash.
