
Motorcyclist Hurt After Deer Crash Near Blooming Prairie
Blooming Prairie, MN (KROC-AM News) - A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a deer on a southeastern Minnesota highway Friday evening.
Crash Occurred Near Blooming Prairie
The State Patrol says the crash was reported just before 7 p.m. on Highway 218, approximately 3 miles south of Blooming Prairie in Mower County. The preliminary crash report indicates the motorcycle was headed northbound when it struck the deer.

Motorcyclist Transported By Mayo Clinic Ambulance
The State Patrol identified the motorcyclist as 48-year-old Christopher Bryce Weaver of Owatonna. He was transported to the Mayo Clinic Health System facility in Owatonna with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash report indicates he was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the incident.
