Kenny's mom, Lisa, was a homemaker and his dad, Robert, was a salesperson. In 1970, Kenny joined forces with Jim Messina and formed the duo Loggins and Messina.
They released seven albums between 1971 and 1976, five of which earned gold album status and two platinum. In 1977, Kenny recorded his first solo album "Celebrate Me Home". Through his solo career, he released thirteen albums, four platinum and three gold status. Did you know that Kenny turned down Barbra Streisand's offer to co-star in A Star is Born.
