The north shore of Minnesota is such a beautiful place to visit any time of year. But you can make that trip even better by staying in a unique place. There's one option that's relatively new to the Lutsen, Minnesota area that is like a tiny village of domes.

They kind of remind me of the Metrodome (RIP). They're just white, bubble-y domes that you can rent and spend a weekend or week in. There are four domes in total and each one has its own design theme based on the name of the dome.

The place is called Klarhet (it rhymes with star-bet) which is Swedish for clarity. On their website, they say clarity is "the feeling we were inspired by when each space was created and the feeling we hope finds you while you’re with us and beyond."

The first dome is Raidho, which is "Old Norse for 'joy of the journey, a new path forward, and new opportunities'" so that's the word that inspired the look of this dome.

The second dome is Dagaz, which is "Old Norse for 'the light within, daylight, and new beginnings'".

The third dome is Laguz, which is "Old Norse for 'water, sea, and the deeper consciousness'".

And finally, the fourth dome is Berkanan, which is "Old Norse for 'Birch, renewal, and Mother Earth'".

Each of these domes has its own themes but they all have the same layout. There are two queen beds, one in the front facing the big window (that would be an amazing view!) and one up in the loft.

There's also a small seating area in each and also a dining area.

And each of the domes has a kitchen that has a slightly different design based on which dome it's in.

Don't worry, there's also a nice bathroom which includes a shower in each of the domes as well.

On top of these super cool domes, there are also plenty of things to do. They have a fire pit, you can rent snowshoes, and they even have a garden that's called a regenerative food forest.

On their website, they explain, "A food forest, or forest garden, is a diverse planting of edible plants and integration of animals that attempts to mimic the ecosystems and patterns found in the natural world." I love this concept!

If you'd like to stay in one of these domes they aren't the cheapest, starting at $225 per night, and you have to stay at least 2 nights.
