Man Shot at Rochester Apartment Complex
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A Rochester man was shot Saturday night at a SE apartment complex.
Police officers were called to the Andover Park Apartments at 2040 8 ½ Street SE just after 10:30 PM after witnesses reported hearing 4-5 gunshots.
Officers found 23-year-old Antonio Lamar Johnson had been shot in the leg and upper back. He was transported by Mayo Ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries.
RPD Sgt. Jeffrey Sobczak says his injuries were described as non-life threatening. Sobczak says he was shot outside the complex. It’s unknown if Johnson resides at the complex.
Sobczak says the shooting remains under investigation.
