Opening day for the Minnesota Twins is Thursday and the team is planning a big party. The festivities will start early in the day with Breakfast on the Plaza from 6:00 AM. and 9:00 AM. Fans can stop by for a free breakfast. Then at 1:00 PM, former Twins greats will be roaming around outside of Target Field to greet fans. The first 10,000 fans in the gate will receive a free Twins jacket and the game will include fireworks and a flyover.

For the first time since 2019, there will be no COVID-19 restrictions at Target Field. Fans going for opening day or for any game this season will get the chance to try some new foods at the ballpark. The Twins just announced the new concession items for 2022. Eating and drinking is half of the fun of going to a game at Target Field and this year fans will have some new options to choose from.

In section 116 you'll find La Tapatia's Adobo Chicken Tacos. Available in street or Cali style.

Soul Bowl will offer barbecue-braised beef sandwiches and coleslaw. Find them in section 113.

Bub's Aussie Pies will be located in section 126 and will offer Australian-style meat pies.

Truly on Deck inside Target Field will have a few new foods available including Birria Tacos, Chimichurri Short Rib & Pork Belly, and Hot Italian Grinders.

New to Townball Tavern is the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich and Walleye.
