St Paul (KROC AM News) -  Olmsted County’s COVID-19 death total reached a milestone over the weekend.

Two more covid-related deaths were reported to the Minnesota Dept. of Health, raising the local total to 101.

Olmsted County’s first covid death was reported on April 2nd last year. The victim was a person in their 90s who was a resident of a long-term care facility.

The two latest deaths in Olmsted County were among 16 reported over the weekend. The state’s total has risen to at least 7370.
