Breckenridge, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person died after a crash with a semi-truck in a northwestern Minnesota town.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that the incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 210 and Highway 9 in Breckenridge.

An SUV was traveling west on Highway 210 just after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. The SUV lost control and spun out, crossing the centerline, and was struck by a semi-truck that was traveling east on the highway.

The driver of the SUV was identified as 72-year-old Judith Johnson of Fergus Falls. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was identified as 56-year-old Bradley Griggs of Milnor, North Dakota. He was not injured.

The State Patrol indicated that the roads were snow/ice-covered at the time of the incident.
