Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Winds gusting above 70-miles-per-hour caused extensive damage and power outages across southeastern Minnesota last night.

There have been widespread reports of downed trees in and around the Rochester area. To the south of the city, damage to farm buildings was reported in Marion Township and there was a report of a lightning strike causing a structure fire in Blooming Prairie.
