Rochester Exposer Identified; Police Are Now Trying To Find Him
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A man who exposed himself to a young girl at a Rochester park has been identified and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
The incident happened in May at a small playground along the Zumbro River near the former Roscoe’s site.
A Rochester man was there with his 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son. He told police he was tending to his son while his daughter was on a teeter-totter. A man suddenly appeared and joined the girl on the teeter-totter and later began pushing her on a swing.
The father told police he felt uncomfortable about the man and decided to leave. The father told police “when he told his daughter it was time to go home for lunch” the suspect suddenly dropped his pants and began fondling himself. When the father yelled at the man, he pulled up his pants and walked away.
An RPD investigator assigned to the case was able to link the description of the suspect to an earlier incident and a positive ID was made.
The man being sought has been identified as 37-year-old Seth Sorem, who is described as homeless. He has been charged with 5th-degree criminal sexual conduct and indecent exposure.
