Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man is accused of sexually assaulting three young sisters, including one who is 8-years-old.

Three counts of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct have been filed against 32-year-old Quentin Townsell. The charges indicate penetration was involved.

He has been ordered to attend an evidentiary hearing next month.

Police began investigating Townsell after the mother of the girls reported two of them - ages 10 and 11 - had reported being assaulted.

The criminal complaint says one of the girls told an investigator during a recent incident, “When Townsell was done, he got up and left twenty dollars for her.”

A court hearing was held Wednesday to deal with a request from the prosecution to seek an extended prison sentence if he is convicted.

Conditional bail for Townsell was set at $50,000. Court records show Townsell posted a bond and is no longer in the Olmsted County jail.
