Rochester Man Arrested For DWI – Again
Rochester, MN(KROC AM News) - A Rochester man with a history of drunk driving convictions was arrested on suspicion of DWI on Saturday.
An Olmsted County deputy who was on the lookout for a reported erratic driver on I-90 spotted the vehicle near the Eyota exit around 2:15 AM. The deputy pulled the driver over after seeing him swerving from shoulder-to-shoulder on the freeway.
The driver was identified as 51-year-old Christopher Wyatt.
The deputy detected an odor of alcohol and arrested Wyatt after he failed a sobriety test. Wyatt refused to take a breath or blood test.
Wyatt could be facing a felony DWI charge because of several prior convictions dating back to 1999. His most recent was in 2008.
