Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An infant and a young child escaped a rollover crash near Rochester without injury this morning.
The State Patrol says of the baby boy and four-year-old girl her passengers in an SUV driven by 34-year-old Brittany Ward. She was driving west on I-90 near the Highway 52 interchange at Marion when she lost control and the vehicle rolled around 11:50 a.m.
The children were not hurt, but Ward was transported to St. Mary's hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The State patrol says slippery conditions resulting from today's snowfall may have contributed to the crash. The report on the crash described the road surface as snow and ice-covered.
