Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Workers at a downtown Rochester construction site showed up for work Monday and discovered many of their tools were missing.
The theft occurred over the holiday weekend at a site at the Hyatt House project at 110 Civic Center Dr NW.
Police were told the missing items belonged to workers of three companies. They reported a total of around 100 tools that had been stolen and put the loss at $27,000.
It appears the thieves gained entry to the building through a door that had been forced open.
