Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man who was charged last September with having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 13 is facing new allegations.

The victim in the new case is the younger sister of the girl in the initial case.

Their mother contacted the Olmsted County’s Sheriff’s Office in November after her younger daughter “made some comments” that led her to believe that 44-year-old Daniel Kenney had also molested her.

During an interview with an investigator, the girl “remembered being seven years old the first time the sexual touching occurred.”

Charges of 1st and 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct have been filed against Kenney in the new case and he has been ordered to make his first court appearance on the felony charges on March 30th.

He is currently scheduled to stand trial in the first case in May.
