Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) -It was a bit chilly across southeast Minnesota Thursday morning as temperatures dropped into the low and mid-40s.

The lowest reading came from Dodge Center at 45 degrees. Rochester and Preston had lows of 46.

There was frost on the ground in NE Minnesota Thursday morning as several cities reported overnight lows in the low/mid-30s. Hibbing was the cold spot with a low of 29 degrees.

Cool weather is expected in SE Minnesota Friday and Saturday. High temps on Saturday will barely reach 60. Warmer weather is expected to return Monday.
