Teen Killed After Being Struck by Train in Albert Lea

Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News)- A 16-year-old boy was killed after being struck by a train in Albert Lea.
A news release from the Albert Lea Police Department indicates the deadly incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. A train crew reported seeing the young man lying across the tracks near the Garfield Ave. and Ramsey St. intersection.
Crews took immediate action to try and stop the southeast bound locomotive but were unsuccessful. Police say foul play is not suspected. The incident remains under investigation.
