Teenage Motorcyclist Killed in NE Rochester Crash
UPDATE: 6/24/22 8:46 a.m. Police say the motorcyclist was a 16-year-old male from Rochester. He was traveling east on East Circle Dr. NE when a 47-year-old man attempted a left-hand turn from Valley Place NE. Police say the motorcyclist struck the man's vehicle in the intersection. Police are still investigating the crash.

There was a fatal crash involving a motorcycle this afternoon in Rochester.
The Rochester Police Department today reported the deadly crash at the intersection of East Circle Drive and Northern Valley Place Northeast just before 1 PM. A preliminary report indicates a motorcycle and car collided at the intersection and the juvenile male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was not hurt.
Their names have not been released. The Police Department Forensic Mapping Unit responded to the scene and is processing the crash site to determine what happened.
At last report, westbound traffic on East Circle Drive was being rerouted onto the service drive in the vicinity of the crash.
