Trucker Killed in Freak Accident in Twin Cities
Oakdale, MN (KROC AM News) - A truck driver was killed in the Twin Cities Saturday afternoon in a freak accident.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the truck was on I-694 in Oakdale when the driver braked suddenly for unknown reasons. That caused the load of steel beams on the trailer to break loose and shift into the cab, killing the driver. The truck came to a stop without hitting any other vehicles.
The victim was identified as 26-year-old Nelson Masse.
