
UPDATE: Drivers In Byron Crash Identified; One Was Seriously Hurt

Byron, MN (KROC AM News) -The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the four people who were involved in a chain-reaction traffic crash in Byron.
The wreck happened Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 14 and County Rd 5 around 1:30 pm.
Three vehicles were waiting at the traffic control light in the eastbound lanes of Highway 14 when a car driven by 55-year-old David Chant of Faribault crashed into the rear of another vehicle. It was driven by 33-year-old Christopher Boswell of Rochester. His SUV was pushed into a vehicle in front of him and another that was in the other lane.
The other two vehicles were driven by 61-year-old Kathleen Steinmetz of Tomah, Wisc. and 29-year-old Joseph Carlson of Rochester.
The State Patrol reports Chant was the only person who was hurt and his injuries were described as life-threatening.
