Young Minnesota Girl Killed While Standing On Highway

Onamia, MN (KROC AM News) - A young girl from east-central Minnesota was killed late Thursday after being struck by a vehicle.
The State Patrol says the 6-year-old girl was hit around 10:45 pm Thursday near Onamia.
According to the State Patrol’s accident report, the girl was standing on Highway 169 near the southwest shore of Lake Mille Lacs when she was hit. She died at the scene. The girl was identified as Unique Sincere Beaulieu of Onamia.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 48-year-old woman from Garrison. Her name is expected to be released Friday.
