Anti-Dakota Access Pipeline Protest at Vikings Game
Two Anti-Dakota Access Pipeline protesters hung a banner at U.S Bank Stadium during the Vikings game against the Bears. Below is a press release about the protest at U.S Bank Stadium.
The sign was huge, and somehow the two men were able to get all of their climbing gear and the sign into the stadium. Nobody is sure how they got in, yet.
U.S Bank Stadium took immediate action and dispatched Minneapolis Police officers. The stadium and police officers cleared the seven rows beneath the protesters, and also released this statement.
Also, the protester is connected to the sign, so it makes removing the protesters from the stadium very, very difficult.
Update at 3:26 p.m.
Here is a statement from the Minneapolis Police department. The protesters are going to be charged with trespassing.
