Complaint About Illegal Burn Leads To Recovery of Rochester Truck

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A complaint about an “illegal burn” in rural Olmsted County led to the recovery of a stolen pickup truck.
Deputies were sent to a site in the 6,000 block of 14th St NW around 8:00 pm Monday.
They confirmed prohibited items were being burned. While at the property they also spotted a 2013 pickup that was partially hidden. A check of the vehicle confirmed it had been stolen in Rochester.
Investigators are now trying to determine if a man who was at the scene is connected to the theft.
