Freeborn County Traffic Wreck Caused by Roaming Cattle
Geneva, MN (KROC AM News) - A traffic wreck early Tuesday in rural Freeborn County was caused by some wandering cows.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a semi-truck was on I-35 near the town of Geneva around 3:30 AM when according to the report, ”The driver was unable to avoid multiple cattle on the roadway.”
The driver lost control and the rig went into a ditch and rolled. The driver and his passenger were treated for non-life threatening injuries. The State Patrol says another semi struck a second cow. Both cows were killed.
