(UPDATED) – Rochester Teacher Faces Child Pornography Charges
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A privately operated school in Rochester today issued a statement in response to the arrest of a former teacher.
Resurrection Lutheran School has confirmed that 37-year-old Wolf Brian Parsons had been employed as a teacher at the Northwest Rochester school prior to his arrest last Friday. A statement issued by the school indicates he has not been on campus since and his employment has been terminated.

Parsons was arraigned today in Olmsted County Court on charges of dissemination and possession of child pornography. The criminal complaint in the case indicates Rochester police discovered numerous images of suspected child sexual abuse materials involving children between the ages of 5 and 14 when a search warrant was executed at his home last week.
Resurrection Lutheran School, in its statement, indicated there is no evidence that the situation involved any of the school's students, but "our school family is stunned and saddened by this discovery."
Rochester police indicated the investigation into Parsons began after investigators received cyber tips relating to one image and two videos of suspected child sexual abuse material that were found on Skype. The court document says investigators were able to link an IP address associated with the cyber tip to Parsons.
