St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - A million Minnesotans are now at least partially vaccinated against COVID-19.

State health officials today reported the number of people who have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine has risen to 1,016,274. over 543,000people in Minnesota are now considered fully vaccinated against the viral illness. just over 30 percent or nearly 47,000 people in Olmsted County have now had at least one dose of the vaccine and the count of those fully vaccinated locally is up to nearly 34,000.

The Minnesota Department of Health today reported another 12 coronavirus-related deaths in the state. One of the deaths involved a Fillmore County resident in their early 70s.

975 new COVID-19 cases were detected in the state yesterday. 17 of the new infections were in Olmsted County. The statewide daily testing total was just over 28,000 and the daily testing positivity rate was about 3.4 percent.
