Rochester McDonald’s Now Serving Donuts
About a month ago Burger King added funnel cake fries to their menu and now their main rival McDonald's is offering a fried sweet treat. McDonald's is now offering Donut Sticks at participating locations.
McDonald's says the Donut Sticks are strips of deep-fried dough sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and come in 6-packs or you can order a dozen. According to online reviews, they're pretty good and are great to dunk in coffee. If you want to try them know that they're only served until 10:30 AM and will only be around for a limited time.
Expect more additions to their menu in the future as McDonald's tries to boost breakfast sales. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that McDonald's is testing baked goods like coffee cakes and muffin tops.
