Rural Olmsted County Woman Falls, Spends Several Days On The Ground
Dover, MN (KROC AM News) - A rural Olmsted County woman who suffered a broken leg was found on the floor of her garage Thursday, nearly a week after she fell and could not get up or move.
And she had to endure temperatures that reached the mid-90s on Tuesday.
Sheriff’s Capt Jim Schueller says some lawn care workers who arrived at her property near Dover around 3:00 pm found the elderly woman and called 911. Schueller says the woman told them she had been there since last Friday. The woman was found in the garage doorway. She was taken to the hospital.
Her medical condition is not known.
Schueller says the residence is in the 15,000 block of 40th St SE and is located “quite a distance from the road.”
