There are 12 new events coming to Downtown Rochester, Minnesota this year! From a newer, bigger, and improved Night Market and Burlesque on Broadway, to a Murder Mystery Party and That 70's Halloween Celebration, these events have something for everyone.

The dates of these events are yet to be announced.

Where'd The Downtown Rochester, MN Events Come From?

The Rochester Downtown Alliance again asked people to reach out and submit the event they'd love to see in Rochester, MN, and award $10,000 in grants to as many events as possible. Top grant size $3,000.

Not all events needed the big money, but according to Holly Masek, RDA executive director. they had more applicants than ever, which shows people have ideas, and when they have the chance, they'll step up and make this Minnesota city more exciting and fun.

I love this program..people are encouraged to dream up events for Downtown Rochester, and this year they had so many applicants. Here's what the RDA said,

From an impressive number of applicants, 12 recipients will receive funding from the Rochester Downtown Alliance’s Start-Up Event Grant to host programs in downtown Rochester.
