There are all sorts of unique stays listed on Airbnb in the state of Iowa, but there's only ONE that's located within a tree! The title of that listing is "It's a Treehouse! Yes, a real treehouse!" and it's located over in Des Moines.

The Des Moines treehouse Airbnb is hosted by Jessica, who is considered a "Superhost" on the site. That title is reserved for "experienced, highly rated hosts who are committed to providing great stays for guests." According to Jessica, her treehouse is the ONLY treehouse in Iowa that's available on Airbnb.

When you hear the word "treehouse," you probably think of a little wooden box set up in a tree for kids, but this treehouse is much more than that. First of all, the space is insulated and has heat and air conditioning. It also features a couch, a mini kitchen, running/hot water, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. There are three beds in the Airbnb: a queen-sized loft bed, a twin-sized loft bed, and a pull-out futon. If you head outside of the treehouse and down the wooden staircase, you'll notice a fire pit and BBQ that are yours to use.
