These Minnesota Counties Have The Most Reported Sightings

Have you ever heard a story, one that you know that there is no way that it is true, yet you still have that little tiny sense thinking "BUT WHAT IF IT IS TRUE?!?". Yeah, I get the same way with stories about Bigfoot.

Also, is anyone else on the lookout for Bigfoot? No? Okay, just a few people then. Do people still search for Bigfoot, or did we all just agree it is the guy from the Beef Jerky commercials?

There have even been a few sightings in Southeast Minnesota including in Fillmore County and Houston County. Those two counties did not crack the Top 5 in Minnesota, though. Check out that list below.

The Minnesota Counties With The Most Bigfoot Sightings

Apparently, there are at least SOME people that feel like they have seen Sasquatch. In fact, there have been 74 total Bigfoot sightings/reports of a sighting in Minnesota and the most recent one was in St. Louis County in November of 2020. St. Louis County also has the most reported sightings with 21. Check out the Top 5 list below according to The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.

There are plenty of wild stories that might even send you down a rabbit hole, including a story right in Southeast Minnesota in Houston County. There have even been two sightings in Fillmore County when there were reports made by Spring Valley.

Either way, all these stories are freaky!

Interestingly enough, nearly 19% of park visitors come from other states and countries, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Now, my favorite State Park is Jay Cooke in Carlton, MN, but it did not break into the top 5.
