You know and love the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics, and if you're like most people, you always say, "I wanna cheer these Olympians on year round!" Well here's your chance! Saturday morning it is going to be a beautiful sunny day for a track meet! The Rochester Flyers of Olmsted County will join teams from Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Rice, Steele, Wabasha, and Winona counties at the Area 10 Special Olympics Track and Field Competiton!

I don't know how you're supposed to behave at a track meet, but people get wild and loud and cheer like you've never heard during this track meet. It's fun, hugely athletic, and so full of heart your heart will just burst with love. And some tears are possible. Really, bring some hankies. Please, come out and have fun!

Jessica Williams and I will help kick off the Opening Ceremonies at 9 AM!
