Taco Bell Hooks Up America With A Free Taco Thanks To A Stolen Base
It only took till the fifth inning before Mookie Betts became everyone's hero.
Well, all those who want a free taco from Taco Bell at least, on October 28th.
Taco Bell brought back the Steal A Base and Steal A Taco promotion for the World Series. All it took was one player from either team stealing a base for everyone in America to get a free taco. Then, Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers made sure everyone got their taco.
It was the bottom of the fifth inning when Betts took off and stole second base, and everyone on Twitter took over from there.
It is the second time that Betts stole the base that got everyone in America free tacos, he also stole the first base of the 2018 World Series with the Boston Red Sox. (We won't dive into why the Red Sox traded him, that is just too long of a story).
Trea Turner stole the base last year to get everyone in the country a free taco.
I mean, a free taco is just one more reason to love baseball and everything the Fall Classic brings to the table. Regardless if you like baseball or not, it is free tacos for everyone in America at Taco Bell, so be sure to get there early because you know that line will be out the door and around the corner.
